St. Johns, Michigan
St. Johns is the county seat of Clinton County Michigan. As of the 2000 Census, the city population was 7,485. St. Johns is known as the Mint Festival City. This unique city boasts award-winning schools, a wide array of thriving businesses, recreational parks, incredible health care services, and numerous cultural opportunities.
The city of St. Johns park systems consists of over 137 acres of land on six different sites (one main park and five pocket parks). The parks are overseen by a nine member advisory board appointed by the city commissioner. The main city park has numerous amenities including tennis courts, softball fields, band shell, sand volleyball court, rental and non-rental pavilions, sledding hill, ice rink, and more. The pocket parks located throughout the city, include children’s play toys and are open from dawn to dusk.
