Elsie is a village in Clinton County, Michigan. The village consists of two noncontiguous portions within Duplain Township in the northeast portion of Clinton County. As of the Census of 2000, there were 1,055 people, 414 households, and 288 families residing in the village.

The school district is combined with Ovid. Ionia is a city in the State of Michigan. As of the Census of 2000, there were 10,559 people, 2,421 households, and 1,534 families residing in the city. Ionia Public Schools is the school district for Ionia.
