Bellevue, Michigan
Bellevue is a village in Eaton County Michigan. As of the Census of 2000, there were 1,365 people, and 525 households, and 372 families residing in the village. Bellevue Community Schools is the school district for Bellevue. The Mission statement is “Bellevue Community Schools develops innovative thinkers and leaders for our community, our country, our world”.
The Village of Bellevue and the Township of Bellevue began a joint effort in 2004 to develop a master plan for the area. During October of each year the Baker Sanctuary, just south of Bellevue, is the site of the largest gathering of sand hill cranes in the nation. Bellevue is full of historic building, museums, and nature areas. The town is surrounded by picturesque roads, color tour areas and wildlife preserves.
