Vermontville is a village in Eaton County in the State of Michigan. Vermontville is home to the original maple syrup festival in Michigan, held the last full weekend in April. Vermontville is also known for being the only city in America with four Main Streets (North Main, South Main, East main, and West Main Streets). As of the Census of 2000, there were 789 people, 287 households, and 216 families residing in the village.

The Village of Vermontville was organized in 1836 by the Reverend Sylvester Cochrane, a congregational minister from East Poulney, Vermont and the Union Colony. The village was incorporated on March 11, 1867 by an act of the legislature. Maple Valley Schools is the school district in Vermontville. The district is centrally located near Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Battle Creek and consists of four buildings housing students, a district administrative building, and a bus garage. Vermontville features  three public parks which include playground equipment, ball fields, basketball courts, pavilions and picnic tables.
