Holt, Michigan is located about 20 minutes southeast of Lansing, sitting in the southwest corner of where US-127 and I-96 cross paths. It is an unincorporated community in Delhi Charter Township of Ingham County. Holt has a total area of 4.3 square miles and has an estimated population of 24,000 residents.
Holt is home to an ancient glacial esker, which is a winding ridge of sand and gravel that was created by a melting glacier, that spans from Lansing to Mason. Delhi Township has eight parks for Holt residents to use that include swimming areas, tennis courts, basketball courts, softball fields, playgrounds, and more.

Holt Public Schools educates over 5,600 students every year, and has two elementary schools that are in session year-round.
