Legendary Lansing Area Cider Mills

It’s that time of the year where not only leaves, but apples of all colors can be found on trees all over Michigan. Fall has arrived, and the best way to kick off the season is to visit your local apple orchards to handpick some produce, drink delicious cider, and indulge in a plethora of cider mill donuts. Though most are a little drive away, nothing beats a fall mid-Michigan day at one of these locations:

Clearview Orchards – Haslett, MI

Through October, you can pick your own apples at Clearview Orchards and grab some other produce like pumpkins, gourds, and squash while you’re there. The freshly picked apple scent and beautiful scenery will make for an exceptional afternoon for anyone.

Granny’s Orchard – Eaton Rapids, MI

This Granny is one you will always want to come visit with her selection of fresh fruits and “finest apple cider.” The beautiful views will draw you in, but the delicious apples will make you stay.

Johnston’s Applewood Farm – Eaton Rapids, MI
